Boris Katz
For over 35 years Boris Katz has been an enthusiastic ceramics artist. After receiving a Master's degree from the formerly known Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design and today the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, Saint Petersburg, Boris immigrated with his family to the State of Israel.
Over the years, Boris’ works have been exhibited in Different Museums and galleries, some were purchased by museums and private collections worldwide.
Driven by his passion for sculpting, Boris has gained varied expertise as he took part in the restoration of archaeological antiques, founded the “Guild” gallery in Jerusalem, and took part in national and international symposiums. Nowadays, Boris’ compositions concentrate on mankind and express human wishes, desires, fears, complexes, and longings.
